President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
President Nana Akufo-Addo is now entering the first phase of her national tour in 2019, confirms DGN Online.
Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah told the media about the Wednesday morning tour in Accra.
According to him, after having ordered the $ 1.5 billion Sinohydro Roads project in Tamale today, the president would begin the tour starting with six newly created regions.
He said the president would visit three of the six new regions, namely the regions of West, Bono East and Ahafo, respectively, as of today, the April 10, 2019, to Monday, April 15, 2019.
The first area he should visit this afternoon is the Northwest region, where it is planned to cut grbad for some road projects, including the road to Sefwi Wiaso.
He will leave the northwest for Ahafo Friday and at Ahafo, he will inaugurate some projects until Sunday.
The president will visit the Ahafo region to inspect the site for the construction of the new regional coordination council.
On Monday, he will visit the Bono Est area.
The president will continue his tour in the other 16 regions.
Since taking office in 2017, President Akufo-Addo has traveled across the country to get an idea of the developments and challenges ahead.
