Akufo-Addo captured the PNC soul; Kill the party – Mornah | Policy

The National President of the National People's Convention (NCP), Bernard Mornah, accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of invalidating the PNC by appointing the presidential candidate, Dr. Edward Mahama, Ambbadador from the United Kingdom.

Mr. Mornah explained that Dr. Mahama, as leader of the PNC, represented the soul of the party and that, therefore, his appointment by Mr. Akufo-Addo rendered the doctor-politician unable to work for the PNC.

"We have not had a meeting of the National Executive Committee to discuss party issues since its [Dr Mahama’s] Appointment. I remember we sent him a message informing him that there would be a CEN meeting, but he replied that he was not aware of the meeting and that 39, so it should be canceled, "Mornah said on Accra television on Thursday, July 11, 2019. by Kwabena Prah Jnr (The Don).

As an itinerant ambbadador, Dr. Mahama has been named a top diplomat, with special functions, and can represent the country all over the world.

But Mornah said the president's appointment of Dr. Mahama was working against the PNC. "The leader of your party represents the soul of the party. So when the leader is captured, the party is gone. President Akufo-Addo reduces the PNC with this appointment.
