President Akufo-Addo condemned the leak of the report of the Emile Short Commission.
The Commission was charged with investigating reports of violence in the by – election of Ayawaso West Wuogon.
The report was then submitted to the Presidency but YEN.com.gh understands that portions have been disclosed.

According to a report from Pulse.com.gh, he recommended various sanctions against some officials involved in the incident of Awayaso's partial election shootout.
In acting leaks, the president said the government would prefer to be cautious rather than making hasty decisions.
He explained that as long as the government was not convinced that the time was right, it would keep the report.
The Emile Short Commission was created to investigate the causes of the violence that marred the by-election and make recommendations.
The committee presented its report to President Akufo-Addo in March 2019 after questioning several officials and witnesses about the shooting.
