President Nana Akufo-Addo donated GH ¢ 20,000 to the bereaved families of the late Gabriel Kwame Awuah, founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bono region.
He made the presentation when he joined mourners at the week-long funeral observation rite of the late Awuah, who was also the chairman of the region’s Nuclear Power Plant Elders Council, in as part of his two-day working visit to the region. .
The late Awuah passed away on Sunday July 25, 2021 at Sunyani Regional Hospital.
He was 81 years old and the family had set for Saturday, September 11, 2021 his funeral and his last funeral rites.
