"He (President Akufo-Addo) is committed to his work and to making sure he has the right thing," he told Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview on "kokrokoo" program.
He made this remark while discussing the issue of flood and the predicted heavy rains by the Ghana Meteorological Service.
In a one-on-one interview, the Minister said the President is committed to making the issue of floods a thing of the past.
"We have a President who does not allow us to sleep … I'm telling you something very serious, the kind of strength the man (Akufo-Addo) is supervising us with is overwhelming. I am backing him on that … if you think you can not meet his standards, "he said of the President.
Speaking further on the rains, he said that he would do its part in putting things in place to prevent floods, but urged Ghanaians to also do their part by noting on waterways and not dumping rubbish indiscriminately.
