Mr. Akufo-Addo is absent in the United States, but many Ghanaians welcome social networks.
His wife Rebecca also tweeted to wish him a happy birthday.

Mr. Akufo-Addo was born on March 29, 1944 in Accra, William Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
