Maame Efua Sekyi-Addo, Deputy National Women's Organizer at the NDC
Maame Efua Sekyi-Addo, Deputy National Organizer of the National Democratic Women's Congress, described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Akufo Addo as a leader recognized for her vigilance, corruption and nepotism.
She made these remarks by delivering a speech at a symposium organized by the Higher Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the Koforidua Technical University, covered by MyNewsGh.com.
Maame Efua, as he is fondly called, explained that every leader had to defend something, but in his badessment of the Akufo-Addo-led government over the last two years, he is a leader who defends vigilance, nepotism, broken promises, public service.
She also said the president was insensitive to the plight of the ordinary Ghanaian. She lamented that President Akufo-Addo, rather than building more secondary schools and higher universities, was interested in renaming state institutions in the honor of family members.
The organizer of the NDC Women Organizer promised students a better future when H.E John Dramani Mahama would be elected president of Ghana in the 2020 general election.
She pointed out that former President John Dramani Mahama was hoping for a brighter future and that it was therefore necessary to give another chance to continue the good works that he was accomplishing.
