Happy Nana Addo Akufo Addo President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

Ghana's president, Nana Akufo-Addo, has been named Africa's best president in a survey by a Canadian-based research organization, "The leaders of tomorrow".

Releasing the list of the best and most outstanding presidents of 2018 in Africa, the Ghanaian president, Akufo-Addo, has topped the list.

This follows a similar study conducted by the US think tank World Vision Forum, which ranked President Akufo-Addo as the top African country and third among the best visionary presidents.

Canada's Future Leaders research team believes that since Nana Akufo-Addo won the 2016 elections, he is a man of the people with a high approval rate because of his positive policies such as free of Food and Jobs, District 1 Dam, NAPCO, among others.

In addition, his commitment to the development of Ghana, the near-absence of allegations of corruption under his regime and the respect of the rule of law by his government are among the reasons attributable to his victory.

The second on the list is Botswana President Ian Khama Khama, the third is Maurice Ameenah Gurib President, Seychelles President Danny Faure was ranked 4th while Gambian President Adama Barrow is ranked 5th.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas, a Ghanaian investigative journalist, was named in the inaugural "Africa Report" ranking of the best Africans who control the levers of power in the political, economic and artistic fields.

The list features billionaire barons to unpredictable peacemakers and superstars of soft power.
