Evangelist Diana Asamoah abolished the claims of some Ghanaians who suggested that the ruling government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had bought a mansion and a car for her.
According to her, she bought her car with the recipes of her singing evangelism and therefore, the misconception that currently exists should cease to indicate that perhaps the new Patriotic Party (NPP) and the President would not have bought it yet.
"I only have one car … I got my car by God's grace. he [Akufo-Addo] never bought my car for me. My producer [Anane Frimpong] and I came together to buy the car. It was purchased through the revenues of my evangelism and singing, "she revealed in an interview with MyNewsgh.com.
She made this point by talking about Power FM, based in Accra.
She mentioned that she was not a politician and that she had been led by God to sing on the New Patriotic Party's campaign platform.
"I do not belong to any political party, I am Ghanaian," she said.
Diana Asamoah mentioned that if God commands her to sing for the NDC, she will never refuse to do so.
