Speaking at the NPP's last rally before Thursday's by-election, President Akufo-Addo urged the voter to vote for Lydia Alhbadan so she's pursuing the development project. of her late husband, who sacrificed herself for the sake of the voters and the NPP party.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also described the widow as the most knowledgeable candidate in Ayawaso West Wuogon's constituency.

He added that his victory would be a clear message that the NPP has "zero tolerance for incompetence".

In the meantime, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) elected Delali Kwasi Brempong to represent him in the upcoming by-elections of Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
