New American Ambbadador Stephanie Sanders Sullivan and President Nana Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo yesterday received the credentials of four new envoys.
The four new envoys – Emad Mugsy Hanna Kamel (Egypt), Stephanie S. Sullivan (United States), Özlem Gülsün Ergün Ulueren (Turkey) and Pham Anh Tuan (Vietnam) – presented their letter to the President at the Jubilee House.
President Akufo-Addo, who welcomed them to the country, spoke of the cordial relations between Ghana and their respective countries and stressed the need for them to strengthen them.
President Akufo-Addo is committed to supporting ambbadadors during their term in Ghana.
He urged them not to hesitate to contact officials of the Presidency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ask for help.
The Egyptian envoy, who met with the President first, said: "As Ambbadador of Egypt to Ghana, the promotion of trade and investment between our two countries will be at the heart of my concerns. I want to emphasize with impatience that there is still much to do. The promotion of investment and commercial links brings us to new levels of tangible cooperation between our peoples. I expect it to be much stronger after the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement. "
US Ambbadador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan, said she looks forward to working with the Ghanaian government to advance and diversify Ghanaian trade while removing barriers for US companies.
"In addition to being one of Ghana's largest trading partners, the United States is fulfilling our mission in Ghana to strengthen the economy in all sectors."
For his part, Turkey's ambbadador to Ghana, ÖzlemGülsünErgünUlueren, stressed that relations with Africa were very important for Turkey, determined to boost trade with the continent.
She said it would strengthen ties between Ghana and Turkey, insisting that Turkey would continue to be a major development partner of Ghana.
Pham Anh Tuan, Vietnam's Ambbadador to Ghana, said: "I am honored to have been appointed Ambbadador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to a country like Ghana that I value very much.
"At the same time, I am fully aware of my heavy responsibilities in promoting multi-faceted cooperation and relationships between our two countries."
"During my tenure, I will strive to broaden and deepen the traditional relations between our two countries, to enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between our governments and our peoples. and to bring relations between Vietnam and Ghana to a higher level. "
