• Former MP said Akufo-Addo will only build 8 hospitals

Former Adenta Constituency MP Kojo Adu Asare has vowed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will never be able to keep his promise to build 110 hospitals in 18 months.

Akufo-Addo on Tuesday August 17th launched the Agenda 111 project to improve Ghana’s health sector, which will ensure that 101 districts have access to hospitals in addition to the 10 selected regional and specialist hospitals.

According to the politician, the president turned out to be a man of words but not of action.

He cited projects like district one factory, village one dam, $ 1 million per constituency as some of the promises Akufo-Addo broke.

“Call me whatever you want to call me, but in 18 months, if Akufo-Addo manages to build the 111 hospitals, ridicule me everywhere you see me,” Adu Asare said in an interview with Asempa FM monitored by GhanaWeb.

He added: “It’s another stroke of luck, they didn’t think about it. This whole affair is shrouded in yet another scandalous process. Because we have $ 100 million in the infrastructure fund that is inactive, so they want to use it. “

The former Adenta MP added: ‘Write it down somewhere, in 18 months they will only complete 8 buildings and if it even exceeds 20, ridicule me in public.

“Nana Akufo-Addo has a lot of insurance, but where is she? Where is a district – a factory, a village a dam, 1 million per constituency? “He asked.

He reiterated that the ruling president will never be able to do what he has promised.

“So me, there is nowhere in my wildest dream that Nana Akufo-Addo can build 111 hospitals in 18 months,” said the politician.
