Dr. Samuel Kojo Frimpong, Technical and Economic Advisor to the Office of the Vice President of Ghana, said that the administration of President Nana Akufo-Addo did not intend to kill local industries.
He made this statement after visiting local industries in Asamankese, Kade and Akwatia in the eastern region with a manager from the Association of Ghana Industries.
He explained that "we are promoting the 1D1F because we intend to help local industries survive. We will do our best to help local industries prosper, create more jobs, perform better, meet challenges and compete in the market. "
