Reverend Al Sharpton addressed Donald Trump's attack on Maryland's representative Elijah Cummings and his district of Baltimore. Sending to reporters, the long-time African-American activist said the president had attacked Cummings and his constituents "in the most sectarian and racist manner". Earlier on Monday, Trump had attacked Baltimore, Cummings' hometown, claiming that it was "a disgusting mess, infested with rats and rodents," adding that it was "the worst race and the most dangerous" [district] everywhere in the United States
