Real Madrid were stunned in extra time by Alcoyano, 2-1, in the Copa del Rey round of 16 on Wednesday.

But Alcoyano didn’t go and equalized 10 minutes from time thanks to Jose Solbes, who came off the bench and scored from close range after Ramon Lopez kicked his way to the far post with a corner kick.
Madrid desperately tried to win the game as a regular team but were greeted by a resolute defense from Alcoyano.
Full of confidence, Alcoyano held Madrid in the first extra period.
They fell a man to the ground in the final 15 minutes when Lopez received a second yellow card for a serious foul. But they ended the unlikely upset minutes to the end when Juanan spun into a left-handed cross at the nearest post.
