Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was absent from the Liverpool team who had trained at Fenway Park on Saturday.

But there is nothing to suggest that the midfielder suffered any setback.

Oxlade-Chamberlain followed his own training schedule after playing an hour of Friday's 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund at Notre Dame.

It's the longest match of the 25 years since his return after being away for a year with a serious knee injury.
