Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain hinted that his dream would come back from an injury on Twitter – but Liverpool fans should not expect this to happen any time soon.
The midfielder is currently sidelined after suffering several knee ligament injuries against AS Roma in the Champions League semifinal last May.
The English international has however made good progress in his rehabilitation and the boss of the Reds, Jurgen Klopp, has recently confirmed that he expects the 25-year-old to be fit to resume the fight before the end of the season.
With four points ahead of Liverpool at the top of the Premier League standings and the best title since the last English win in 1990, and up to the knockout stages of the Champions League, the potential return of Oxlade-Chamberlain after the injury victory would give the Reds an extra boost in the last few weeks of the season.
