Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will wear shirt No. 15 in the new season in Liverpool after the departure of Daniel Sturridge, confirmed the club.

The English midfielder wore the number 15 at Arsenal, but was forced to settle for No. 21 when he joined Liverpool two years ago.

The imminent release of Sturridge gives Oxlade-Chamberlain the opportunity to wear his favorite number.

And with the release of jerseys 2019/20 several weeks ago, Oxlade-Chamberlain will personally reimburse fans who have already purchased jerseys N ° 21 with his name on the back.

Liverpool will not return in pre-season until early July, with their first friendly against League One's Tranmere Rovers on July 11th.

The Reds will then face Bradford City in League Two before heading to America for their pre-season tour.

Jurgen Klopp is expected for a quiet summer of transfers. Liverpool is only looking to consolidate his team instead of making big rookies.
