COVID-19 protocols have dealt a heavy blow to the upcoming PPV event.
Alexander Volkanovski’s featherweight title defense against Brian Ortega was withdrawn from UFC 260 after the Australian tested positive for COVID-19.
The news was made official by the UFC during the broadcast of Fight Night, featured by Derek Brunson’s victory over Kevin Holland, and is a blow to both champion and challenger just a week before the PPV.
