The former Arsenal man was an unused substitute on Saturday as United beat Brighton 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Sanchez, who is in great physical shape, has been promised by his acting coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, if he manages to qualify for this week's training sessions.

Solskjaer said: "It's obvious that it does not fit 100%.

& # 39; Because he's been away for a long time. But he may be in the FA Cup team next week.

Sanchez himself said that he felt as if United, who had won their seven matches under Solskjaer, had seen him offer a new breath of life under his new boss.

"The players are the same with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as they were with Mourinho," said Sanchez at the Mirror.

"But now, we have more success in attack and we defend better. The fact that he has so much history with this club opens the way a lot when he speaks.

"His philosophy is to touch the ball a lot, control the game and score goals. You can say that his position on the field as a player was as an attacker, but he still wants us to take good care of our penalty area as well.

This is how you get better results. The only thing the manager told us was that we could improve the situation ourselves. He said that everything depended on us and that it was in our hands to climb on the table.

"In the end, the results in football make the difference and we are therefore happier than before.

"It's not just on the ground. In the stands, I see an even better atmosphere at Old Trafford. Fans trust us more and it is very positive for everyone. It helps you to keep improving.
