Alexis Sanchez was monstrously wounded while facing the line judge in the defeat against Manchester United at PSG.
The Chilean was introduced to Old Trafford at half-time after an injury to Jesse Lingard.
Sanchez was preparing to come when he was seen stretching and jogging along the sideline.
However, he was hit by a collision with Italian lineman Fabiano Preti, distracted by the action on the ground, reports the Mail.
Sanchez recovered to replace Lingard, but told the United coaching staff that he had been hit and that he had then been kept on the field at halftime.

He is now fighting to be fit for the FA Cup clash with Chelsea, while United is already sweating on the form of several players.
Lingard was forced to hurt himself at PSG, while Anthony Martial is also a serious doubt.
The Frenchman was also forced to defeat 2-0 at Old Trafford and was replaced by Juan Mata.

The injuries come at the worst possible moment for United, who will play the Premier League match against Liverpool next weekend.
