All that David Wheeler had to say after joining MK Dons on loan from Queens Park Rangers

David Wheeler has revealed his hope to do his best after making a loan transfer to MK Dons.

The striker spent the first half of the campaign on loan with Portsmouth, before being called back by the Queens Park Rangers this week.

However, with the first team chances being likely to be limited to Loftus Road, the club quickly decided to send it back on loan on behalf of League Two.

Wheeler will join his former manager, Paul Tisdale, responsible for his former club, Exeter City, and hope his former boss will help him get back into shape.

Addressing MK's iFollow Donations, Wheeler said, "I'm looking forward to playing football and helping the team.

"I spent most of my career at Tis, we have always had good relationships, he knows how to get the most out of my game."

"I think it's always important to have a smooth transition, especially when I have not played football regularly for a while, knowing that the staff was a great thing for me."

"I want to score goals, but most of all, I want to do everything I can to help the team win."
