Awkwafina and Jacob Tremblay would both be in talks to join the distribution, according to Deadline. It is said that the actress would join the cast as a Scuttle. Awkwafina is best known for his role in Crazy Rich Asians. Scuttle is the seagull who befriends Ariel.
Tremblay, allegedly, was exploited for the role of
Wade. Flounder is the best friend of Ariel's fish. There is no word on who
has been hired to play the iconic role of Sebastian, although fans have been
to throw names on all social media.

Rumors about who will play King Triton have not yet reached mainstream media, but some celebrities are jostling for the role. Terry Crews seems to be campaigning hard enough for the role.

Prince Eric is almost as crucial as Ariel in the live adaptation of the film. Although no casting decision has been made public, the Twitter verse thinks Noah Centineo would make a perfect prince, according to Eric agitation.
