The Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (AYE) made a familiarization visit to the National Council of Small Industries (NBSSI) to learn about the council's work protocols.

The delegation led by the group president; Abbey Richard on Wednesday called NBSSI Executive Director Kosi Antwiwaa Yankey and some of the council's staff.

The President emphasized the group's goal, which included capacity building, access to funding, professional networking and business-to-business collaborations.

She stated that some of the key tasks of the board, including capacity building for small business, support and advice to members, funding of registered members and organization of trade shows, for not name only a few.

The Commission, she said, has about 178 district offices and notices to businesses.

A major problem, however, that NBSSI is facing, she said, is the repayment of subsidized loans. Because of this factor, BWHN is currently focused on support services.

Kosi Antwiwaa Yankey said organizations should not criticize the government, but rather meet the appropriate offices to dialogue.

The Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs, however, registered with the Board of Directors after the meeting and pledged to engage them in capacity building and loans on more favorable terms for its members.
