Alpha Xi Delta organizes color race: AmaXing Challenge raises funds for advocacy and advocacy for autism

The Iota Kappa section of Alpha Xi Delta is organizing its annual run / walk of colors in an effort to spark understanding, acceptance and funding of its philanthropy, Autism Speaks.

The race will be held on the campus of Idaho State University on April 6, 2019. The race is open to students and staff members of Idaho State University and to all members of the community.

The AmaXing Challenge will consist of a 3K / 5K color walk / walk, games and activities for all ages, raffles for different packages and guest speakers to help improve the understanding of people in the spectrum. # 39; autism.

Registration begins on the ISU campus quad at 9:30. The race will officially start at 10:30.

The prices of the registration packages include: $ 20 for students / $ 25 for non-students / $ 75 for a group of 4 people / $ 60 for a group of 4 people from a student organization of l & # 39; UIS.

Since partnering with Autism Speaks in 2009, Alpha Xi Delta has generated more than $ 5 million in revenue for the organization. The mission of the group is to contribute to Autism Speaks by helping to change the future of all who struggle against autism spectrum disorder and to give hope to all those who face the difficulties of this disorder.

Members committed to doing so by raising the necessary funds to help support these individuals and their families. Across the country, many Alpha Xi deltas have personal ties to autism and bring their pbadion and support to other members of their chapter and to members of their community.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, one in 59 children is suffering from an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The goal of this race is to continue to improve the understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorders.

Since 2005, Autism Speaks has pleaded to help individuals on all specters of autism disorder. Its mission is to increase understanding and improve services for every family in the four corners of the world affected by autism. To do this, it advances research to better understand how to help those affected.
