High-level musician, Daniel Amakye Dede revealed the circumstances that led to his accident on Saturday, January 2, 2016 in Nsutam, on the Anyinam-Bunso road in the East region.

He said that the driver, who had caused the accident, was on the phone, so he lost control of his vehicle and hit his car.

"A guy who was in the car with me told me after regaining consciousness that the driver was talking on the phone and had crashed into our car," he revealed.

Amakye Dede revealed it on Tuesday at Adom FM's morning show, Dwaso Nsem, while congratulating the station for spending airtime on the debate over the carnage on Ghana's roads.

The legend of the high life was seriously injured and lost his manager in the accident.

The Iron Boy, as it is affectionately known, was to occur in a place called Paradise, located a few meters from the famous Linda Dor Restaurant.

According to reports, the car also reportedly injured four people at a nearby petrol station.

Sharing his experience three years after the incident, Amakye Dede revealed that the reckless driver had been brought to court this year after persistent pressure on the police.

He lamented that such neglected drivers are being left behind after causing the death of innocent Ghanaians.

The Highlife musician warned that such unnecessary accidents, if left unchecked, will deprive Ghana of considerable human resources.
