Amanda Holden won the Heart Breakfast Show and presents Jamie Theakston, whom the Mirror can reveal.
A radio source said, "Amanda was their number one choice. She is warm, fun and, of course, watched and loved by millions of Britons, Got Talent. "
Amanda will fill the vacancy left by Emma Bunton, who is leaving her post as a breakfast star after five years.
In addition to the British Got Talent, Amanda introduced This Morning and revealed last week that she was captain of the Celebrity Juice team.
Judge BGT recently returned to the ITV Talent Contest and revealed that she would never voluntarily leave the show, which she joined in 2007.

She said: "Simon is already discussing next year and said that he all wanted us back but you never know."
Bunton still presents his weekly Sunday show on Heart.
Announcing his decision to leave last December, Bunton said, "I can honestly say that I burst out laughing every day.
