This year's Ghana Shippers Awards, organized by the Ghana Shippers Authority and Globe Productions, are the third in the series.
Mr. Alex Atakorah, Managing Director of the Amaris Terminal, said the award showed how great teamwork was producing results.

Shipper Rewards
More than 51 personalities and companies have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to the growth of the shipping industry.
15 rewards were chosen by shippers and others by shipping and other allied service providers.
The awards program, the third in a row, provides a platform for recognition of individuals and companies that play an important role in the growth and development of the shipping industry in Ghana.
Deputy Minister of Transport, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, who represented the sector's minister, congratulated the event organizers for creating a platform for celebrating individuals and businesses that have played an important role in the growth and development of the shipping industry.
He encouraged laureates such as Amaris Terminal to strive to achieve the goals of creating additional jobs for the sector.
Mr. Latif Abubakar, executive director of Globe Productions, said the program identifies individual projects and achievements that allow shippers to distinguish themselves from their competitors and produce clear and compelling value and other relevant results.
