Amazon has launched its first official Arabic brand website in the UAE and is expected to expand in the Middle East. Visitors to Souq.com are now redirected to a brand new site, Amazon.ae. Souq, bought by Amazon in 2017, is the largest e-commerce platform in the Middle East. A manager from the Amazon said Gulf News no deadline has been set for the transfer of Amazon to Saudi Arabia and other markets in the Middle East, but this will happen soon.
