Amazon Prime Day 2019 starts on Monday, July 15th and ends on Tuesday, July 16th. This is 48 hours of substantial discount for Amazon Prime members, and non-members can access it by signing up for a free 30-day Bonus Trial.
We've put together some of the best deals for cycling before the two-day discount, but you'll be able to choose from thousands of additional products next week.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Launched for the first time in 2015 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Amazon, Prime Day is an orgy of discounts in all categories. In 2019, Prime Day actually lasts two days and, in anticipation of the event, Amazon has organized a live concert, which you can watch here with Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa, among others.
What offers are available now?
Official Amazon Prime Day offers will only be available on Monday, July 15th and Tuesday, July 16th. We will put the best deals on this page but, meanwhile, we have developed other offers during the set up.
Make sure to mark this page on the first day.
The best cycling deals on Amazon
Continental GP 5000 road tires
Available in both clbadic and tubeless versions, the GP5000 builds on the success of the GP4000S II all-rounder, one of our favorite tires.
POC Do Half Blade Sunglbades
The elegant half-blades offer excellent coverage and an easy-to-change lens.
Kask Protone Helmet
The Protone road helmet combines aerodynamic design with everyday user-friendliness and has real professional qualities as one of the lids chosen by Team Ineos (formerly Team Sky).
Garmin Edge 130 GPS Computer
The dinky Edge 130 contains a lot of technology in a small package, with a good screen and good battery life. This is an attractive option for runners who do not need full mapping.
Garmin Edge 820 GPS computer
Now replaced by the Edge 830, the old 820 still incorporates many features and offers full mapping via its touch screen.
Wera hex key set
We all love the right tools, but these Wera color-coded hex keys are especially handy because it's easy to tell which size is which one is at a glance.
Muc-Off Bike Cleaner
Cleaning the bikes is a chore, but this is much easier with the help of a proper cleaner. Muc-Off is designed to be safe on all components, including disc brake pads.
Cateye Omni 3 light
The taillights are of paramount importance, and although we tend to prefer rechargeable models by USB, this little CatEye is so cheap that it is worth replacing. The operating time claimed is up to 200 hours, depending on the mode, and two triple A batteries are used.
Shimano R540 SPD SL Pedals
Do you plan to dive your toes in the waters of the rain? If you want 3-bolt road pedals, the Shimano R540s work well and are as cheap as they are. Check out our guide to road pedal buyers if you need advice.
