Amber Rose revealed that she was suffering from hyperemesis – the same condition that Amy Schumer and Kim Kardashian had during their pregnancy.
The model – who announced in April that she was expecting her second child, the first with the handsome new A. E. Edwards – explained her diagnosis in depth in a video without natural makeup shared Monday to her Instagram account.
"For people who do not know what it is, it's basically extreme nausea, vomiting and dehydration," said the 35-year-old.
Diagnosis: Amber Rose, 35, revealed that she was suffering from hyperemesis in a new video – the same condition that Amy Schumer and Kim Kardashian had during their pregnancy.
In her new video, Amber began by detailing her hopes of "documenting" her second pregnancy more than her first.
The star – who is Sebastian's mother, 6, whom she shared with rapper ex Wiz Khalifa – admitted that she had not been able to capture precious pregnancy moments the first time because she was suffering from hyperemesis as well.
Hyperemesis is a complication of pregnancy characterized by severe nausea and vomiting sometimes leading to weight loss.
Amber added, "I can eat a little more now, because I'm in my second trimester, but not much, and I sleep pretty much all day."

"I'm trying to be cute and get my hair done. I just slept in and I messed it up, "laughs Rose while playing with her hair.
"But all in all, babies are a blessing and God bless women, men. We are resilient, we are getting there. You know, it's really very hard to be pregnant, Rose said frankly.
"To all the women who come out of babies as if nothing had happened, God bless you, because, oh my God, that's a lot," she added.
"I want to be outdoors, I want to be cute, I want to show my belly, I just can not leave this couch. I'm tired and I just want to chat all day, "she said about hyperemesis.

WHAT IS HYPEREMESIS GRAVIDARUM?
Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is defined as severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
Celebrities who have been open about their own battles with HG include:
- the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton
- Kim Kardashian
- Kourtney Kardashian
- Debra Messing
- Kelly Clarkson
- Tia Mowry
- Spelling Tori
It affects up to 2% of pregnant women.
The symptoms of HG usually appear between the fourth and sixth week and peak every 9 to 13 weeks.
Up to 20% of sufferers have symptoms ranging from weeks 14 to 20, but most of them are relieved at an advanced stage.
Unlike morning sickness, which affects up to 80% of pregnant women, HG causes severe dehydration and prevents victims from limiting their food intake.
Other symptoms include:
- Lose five percent or more of their weight before pregnancy
- Reduced urination
- Headache
- Confusion
- Fainting
- Extreme fatigue
- Loss of elasticity of the skin
- A fast heart rate
Some cases of MG require hospitalization where women can receive fluids and intravenous nutrition.
It was thought that the cause of HG was of hormonal origin, but research suggests that this could be due to genetic variation.
