Alhbadan Fuseini Inusah, a member of Tamale Central Parliament, said Martin Amidu was more of a "talker" and a "letter editor" than a special prosecutor.
He doubts that Mr. Amidu, who claims to be a "legitimate citizen", can help fight corruption in the country.
His comment came after Mr. Amidu, in his last article, said that the heads of institutions made his job difficult as a special prosecutor.
Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu recently accused officials from various institutions of obstructing his efforts to fight corruption in the country.
According to him, these leaders simply refuse to comply with established rules on good governance and protection of the national stock exchange.
"Unfortunately, the experience of the special prosecutor's office is that when it comes to corruption and corruption-related crimes, the heads of institutions believe that the rules on the prohibition and / or indefinite permission of officials do not apply to corruption-related crime, "he said in his letter.
Inusah Fuseini, who appeared on NEAT FM's morning show "Ghana Montie," said Wednesday, "The man is not doing his job. All he knows, is writing letters and talking.
