Amos Frimpong left Kotoko for Kaloum Star
The Ghanaian international Amos Frimpong has joined today the AS Kaloum Star Guinean team under a two year contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The former captain of the Porcupine Warriors has been in talks with the camp for two weeks after the Kumasi-based camp agreed to let him go.
After fruitful discussions between the parties involved, Amos Frimpong was announced as a new player by AS Kaloum Star after undergoing a mandatory medical examination.
The defender leaves Asante Kotoko after playing for the club for 8 years and has established himself as one of their best players in the past two seasons.
Amos Frimpong, who can play any role in the defense, joined Kotoko on July 1, 2011 and has won several trophies with the Reds. His recent success with the club came when he helped him to win the rank 1 trophy of the special competition of the Normalization Committee (NC) of the Ghana Football Federation (GFA).
