An Amazon deliveryman is accused of stealing a Texan couple's dog in their yard and having tried to sell the pet on Craigslist at $ 100, according to authorities .
The suspect, Mycah Keyona Wade, aged 22, was arrested and charged with stealing a crime.
She has since been fired from her position as delivery driver for a courier company under contract with Amazon, according to Amazon. Another delivery man who accompanied Wade was also fired, Amazon said.
Wade was delivering parcels to Weatherford, Texas, on July 5, when police announced that she had seized a two-year-old dachshund in a couple's yard. The dog, named RJ, had escaped from the house when his owners had left to run a race.
The police later found an ad in Craigslist that seemed to offer RJ $ 100.
