An elderly couple from the Australian state of Victoria was surprised to receive about 20 kg of methamphetamine, a crystal of drugs that had been delivered wrong Wednesday afternoon.
After signing for delivery, the couple found bags of white powder that led them to contact the police and revealed that the powder was actually methamphetamine, commonly known as "ice cream". According to the authorities, the delivery contained approximately 20 kg of drugs, which represents an estimated market value of US $ 7 million.
The investigators then raided another property, where they found an additional 20 kg of amphetamine. A 21-year-old man was arrested on this property and will appear in court Thursday for importing a marketable quantity of a border-controlled drug.
