A pastor was arrested by Nigerian police for allegedly impregnating 20 members of his ministry in Enugu.
Timothy Ngwu, who is the general supervisor of the Ministry of the Holy Trinity Vineyard, was arrested by agents of the Enugu State Police Command.
Daily Independent reports that Ngwu claimed that the Holy Spirit had commanded him to impregnate as many women as possible of church members.
Ebere Amaraizu, spokesman for the Enugu State Police, said the pastor had been charged with badual abuse.
Sources familiar with the incident, said Ngwu, said the Holy Spirit had given her the mandate to imbue women with her ministry, regardless of their marital status.
The source also said that the child brought into the world by every pregnant woman of the pastor should stay in ministry with the mother all his life.
However, problems began for Ngwu after his wife reported his behavior to the police after the pastor had impregnated his young niece (his wife), in the name of obedience to a woman. "Divine Instruction".
Speaking on his arrest, Ngwu, who reportedly has five women with 13 children and other concubines, said he had never heard of the girl's channel.
Ngwu (in yellow shirt) said that the Holy Spirit had entrusted her with the mandate to imbue women in her ministry, regardless of their marital status.
He also stated that he had never had bad with married women, except that their husband had accepted the request of the "Holy Ghost".
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh Earlier, the Nigerian High Commission in Singapore had expressed satisfaction at the acquittal and release of a Nigerian, Mr. Adili Chibuike Ejike, sentenced to death for drug trafficking in the country.
High Commissioner Akinremi Bolaji, head of Nigeria's mission to Singapore, said on Wednesday (June 29th) that Ejike had been sentenced to death for importing nearly two kilograms of methamphetamine.
Bolaji said Ejike was acquitted by the Singapore Supreme Court and released on Monday without charge.
