The deputy of Effutu said that calls on the police to consider the deputy of Assin Central as the main suspect in the badbadination of an undercover investigator of Tiger Eye PI Ahmed Hussein- Suale are not founded.
Alexander Afenyo Markin agrees that Kennedy Agyapong should be questioned about the grisly murder, but opposes the general presumption that the legislator is complicit simply because of certain statements he made against Ahmed.
"The man is not detained as a suspect, but after the incident, the first public statement was made by a lawyer who attempted to combine two elements to make an argument that, in his view, is linked to a , so the police should invite him.
"Unfortunately, in my opinion, it is unreasonable. This is an unreasonable call from this lawyer who is representing a client against Mr. Kennedy Agyapong in court, "Markin told Joy FM's news badysis program Newsfile.
Ahmed and the investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas were the subject of intensive attacks following the release of the Inquiry number 12 discovered alleged acts of corruption in Ghanaian football.
While many applauded for their work, others have discredited the work and methods used by investigative reporters.

One of these critics was Mr. Agyapong who, in one of his many revolts following the publication of the exposé, used his NET2 TV channel to encourage violence against Ahmed, offering to personally pay for this violence and to reveal the deceasedThe localisation. He also showed photographs of Ahmed during the live broadcast.
Many believe that publishing the photo of Ahmed in the manner of Mr. Agyapong has caused disaffection of the undercover investigator and so it should be held responsible for his murder.
In an interview with Joy News, Anas' attorney, Kissi Adjabeng, said Mr. Agyapong had questions to called for his immediate arrest.
But Mr Markin opposes this notion.

He added that Mr Adjabeng should not be the one who calls for the arrest of the deputy of Assin Central, especially because both sides are already in court for a libel suit.
The appeal to him is "tainted with so many prejudices".
However, Mr Markin wants the police to use all the information provided to him and to neglect nothing in his investigations.
Mr. Agyapong threatened to beat up Ahmed
"Any information that will resolve the likely cause needs to be examined and if it included Mr. Agyapong's invitation, it should be done," he added.
He also called on the public to voluntarily release information to the police. In the absence of this, he doubted that the police could work as expected.
The private legal adviser and vice-chair of the IMANI Africa think tank, Kofi Bentil, who also participated in the roundtable, calls for caution by pointing fingers at Agyapong.
He fears that if you do not take care of yourself, you will lose time and energy chasing the wrong person or people.
"It's a person of interest, I think we should not treat it in a special way; we should guide it through the appropriate processes … when you have a confluence of events, that kind of situation where there is convergence of facts, somebody threatens you and later, something happens to you …
"It is clear that he is a person of interest, but we should not talk about him. Let's look at the bigger picture in terms of the security of ordinary people, "he added.
Mr. Bentil, however, does not share Mr. Markin's view that, until the public provides information to the police, the police "can not do anything".
In his opinion, the police can and are allowed to use all legal means to shed light on a crime.
"Public cooperation would consist of calling a telephone [emergency number] and say "it's happening here … where is the system for that," he wonders.
In her opinion, the police must have a sense of duty and be punished if they do not fulfill their mandate after all, everything they need has been provided.
