An officer starts running for a child frightened by a police car

NORTH OGDEN, Utah (ABC4 News) – The kindness of an officer was filmed on Friday.

The North Ogden Police Service received a call about a found child. When officer Armstrong responded, he learned that the child was afraid to get in the police vehicle and preferred to walk home.

Thinking that the boy's house was nearby, Constable Armstrong decided to walk with him to make sure he was going home safely. Then he realized that the boy liked to jog.

They began to work and Agent Armstrong ran alongside him until he returned home. Once there, Agent Armstrong discovered that the boy was living in a nearby town!

The department shared the photo and thanked Agent Armstrong for being compbadionate and connecting with the younger generation.
