After Qatari midfielder Hbadan Al Haydos scored the third goal of the match, Al Balushi said "Hbadan Haydos, Dous Alaihum Dous", which translates as "Hbadan Haydos, not on them, not after." After that, the commentator had to deal with negative reactions on social media.

Al Balushi, commentator for BeinSports, apologized for his personal account and said: "Sometimes commentators, with all their enthusiasm and interaction, utter uncomputed sentences. I was unable to choose the right word for Qatar's third goal, and I apologize to the audience and the respected people of the United Arab Emirates. I repeat my apologies and regrets to all and hope that it will be accepted (sic). "

Qatar beat the UAE 4-0 to reach its first Asian Cup final on Tuesday. The hosts of the 2022 World Cup will now face Japan four-time champion in Friday's final.
