Like Mike Schramm at TUAW, I love this picture of an iPhone that has been "aged to perfection". In fact, it looks a lot like the appearance of my first iPhone a few years ago.
There is no doubt that the heart of Steve Jobs would stop if he saw one of his products look like this, but that's one of my problems with Apple products: they were never designed to age gracefully, from asceticism.
This is something I've always liked about the first iPhone: it is more scratch resistant than the models that followed it, as long as the screen is protected. It is hard to imagine that the iPhone 4 of a worker will be almost as beautiful despite its imperfections four years later.
