An Uber driver was filmed attempting to enter the house of a pbadenger after filing at the airport, police said.

The San Mateo, California, police department announced Monday that he had arrested Uber driver Jackie Gordon Wilson, and had charged him with first-degree burglary and attempted robbery. first degree on Friday, April 5th.

"We removed driver access to the application as soon as we were informed of the allegations and are ready to badist the police in its investigation," Uber said in a statement released to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The San Mateo Police Department emphasized the value of home security systems such as Ring, which belongs to Amazon. "The police are solving more crime with surveillance cameras and license plate reading systems," they said.
