Anas Aremeyaw Anas, an award-winning underground reporter, is expected to publish this week's "Part 2" of her explosive documentary on illegal mining, titled "Galamsey Fraud".
The purpose of the documentary is to name and shame selfish and powerful individuals, stabbing President Nana Akufo-Addo and Ghanaians in reverse, in his tireless efforts to combat the illegal mining known as "galamsey".
Sources close to Tiger-Eye's IP team, have hinted that the documentary, which is yet to be released, is mostly focused on some senior government officials, including: state ministers, politicians and security personnel.
These individuals, who are supposed to be seen helping the president win the battle against the much-feared illegal mining, were caught red-handed by secret video tapes, in the eyes of the president. Anas and his team, receiving bribes from the blind side of the president. , to circumvent the measures put in place to combat illegal mining activities and allow a company to operate.
Details of the explosive documentary will soon be released in the public domain during the week.
It will be recalled that the previous film filmed the secretary of the Interministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), Mr Charles Cromwell Bissue, who received 35 000 GH ¢ cash in three meetings, through the an Andy Owusu man, to help bypbad the mining permit renewal process for ORR Resources Enterprise.
