Ander Herrera congratulated three of his teammates Manchester United after their victory against Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Spaniard opened the scoring for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team before a new brilliant head from Paul Pogba did not double his head until halftime.
Herrera was greatly commended for his involvement in the victory but instead chose to salute the efforts of the three substitutes who showed up for the win at Stamford Bridge.
Alexis Sanchez, Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay all appeared on the bench in the second half and were impressed by United's victory.
Although Herrera was heroic, he congratulated the substitutes, and in particular Sanchez, for their own impact on the match.
"I think it was a fantastic match," Herrera told BBC Sport after the win. "When you play with these kind of players, you can do this race [for the goal] you know you are going to have the ball.
"But I would also like to talk about Alexis (Sanchez), Andreas (Pereira) and Scott (McTominay) the way they entered the game. And a world clbad player like Alexis. As he fought, it's Manchester United and that's what you want. "
Manchester United beat Chelsea: Reaction
Not only did United score twice to secure the win, but he also kept a blank sheet despite David de Gea's rest for the match.
The defensive resilience found has proved essential in the transformation of Solskjaer. Although Herrera will rejoice in this situation, he is always hungry for improvement.
"Fantastic because David de Gea was not playing, so it's very important also for (Sergio) Romero. We know that we can also trust him, "he added.
"But I think we also like to be critical of ourselves and we need to improve. In the second half, we should have kept more ball to make it more difficult for them. But of course we can be satisfied with the performance and the result. "
