Ander Herrera believes that Manchester United's recovery under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is due to the Norwegian's ability to get the best of the key players.
Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba are among the players to have had a clear recovery since the arrival of the baby-headed killer in the Old Trafford canoe.
The Frenchman in particular endured a tumultuous relationship with his former boss, Jose Mourinho. The cameras even captured a notorious training between the duo.
United won eight wins and a draw against Solskjaer in their nine goalkeeper goalkeeper matches before moving to Leicester on Sunday.
"Ole had this trigger with some players that they did their best," Herrera told ESPN FC.
"He gets the best of Rashford, he gets the best of Paul, he gets the best of Anthony, of Jesse. It is not easy.
"When you're a manager, you sometimes talk too much about tactics, but the hard part for a manager is getting the best of his best players and this manager does it, we've all seen it."
Herrera is in the last six months of his contract, but he is supposed to want to extend his five-year stay at United.
However, he is free to negotiate conditions with foreign clubs for a possible summer move.
