The Estadi Prada de Moles, FC Andorra, has only one stand with a capacity of about 530 spectators

FC Andorra – owned by Barcelona defender Gerard Pique – paid 452,022 euros (£ 411,000) to fill a vacant third-tier Spanish post.

The club, bought by the Kosmos de Pique group in December, was promoted to fourth place last season but now replaces Reus, who was relegated as a result of financial problems.

Zamora, Jaen, Intercity and Linares also wanted to replace Reus.

FC Andorra, founded in 1942, has been playing in the league system since 1948.

When Kosmos took over the reins, he was indebted in the Primera Catalana regional division (fifth place), one point from the relegation places and 17 points from the leaders.

The fees paid by Andorra were a requirement of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
