Former presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Dramani Mahama have again sparked controversy after appearing to share another "embarrbading" handshake.

The two former presidents have rarely been publicly engaged, with information suggesting that they are not at best terms.

Rawlings has particularly criticized Mahama and has repeatedly hit the flag bearer of the NDC.

Both men were however present to attend the traditional ceremony of a week of the late Dr. Kwabena Adjei, former NDC president.

However, the moment that caught the attention of many people was the handshake between Rawlings and Mahama.

While the two men exchanged jokes, they did not seem interested in shaking hands, each being captured, looking away.

A photo taken of the handshake also shows that both men have severe faces, rather than smiling.

This is the second time that Rawlings and Mahama share a cold handshake at a public meeting.

In 2018, it was reported that the two former presidents disagreed after apparently exchanging a cold handshake at the Thanksgiving Ceremony on the occasion of the Fourth Republic of Ghana's Silver Jubilee. .

In a video that went viral, Rawlings was caught shaking hands and pbading Mahama without a smile or saying a word to him.
