A new abduction case was reported in Takoradi, where three other girls who were abducted at the end of last year have still not been rescued by police in the western region.

The message was sent to the father after he sent a message to his daughter's phone threatening to force him to report it to the police if it did not disappear if she did not return home wherever she was. .
The uncle of Maame Darkoa who confirmed the incident in Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson of Connect FM, based in Takoradi, said Thursday that the family reported the case last Saturday to the police of Kwesimintsim with the evidence of the measures to be taken .
Recounting how they realized that Darkoa had been abducted, Mr Seth Tetteh said that he and the lady's father had left home on Friday, January 11th for their relative's funeral.
According to him, they returned on Tuesday, January 15 to find that their daughter was not at home.
"The father then asked where Darkoa was, but his mother told him that she had left home the night before without permission from anyone," Tetteh told our correspondent.
He added that they had then started to contact all parents to find out if they had ever seen their daughter, but the answer had been negative.
Mr. Tetteh told our correspondent that after several calls to Darkoa's phone, the father decided to send her an SMS to threaten her with telling him that if she did not return home, he would be forced to leave her. report to the police as a missing person. .

When she was contacted, the Kwesimintsim police refused to comment on the case.
The latest incident comes from the pressure exerted by Ghanaians to find and rescue three others kidnapped between August and December last by a Nigerian currently in custody.
Samuel Wills, who was described as a serial abductor, was arrested by police in Takoradi on December 24, 2018 and brought before a court that placed him in pre-trial detention to facilitate investigations.

He has not yet been tried on the charge of kidnapping.
