Gifty Annan, wife of Anthony Annan
Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan has denied rumors that he (Annan) has neglected his family.
Last week, Gifty Annan, the player's wife, was interviewed by an Accra-based radio station, accusing Annan of escaping his responsibility as a father of four.
But the Beitar man in Jerusalem has denied Accra FM's accusations in these terms: "It is not true that I do not take care of my children, everyone who knows my children will bear witness to me. Europe, I check them frequently by videoconference, they were dear to me and I will not turn their backs on them.
"These are my children, so why am I going to deprive them of care? I give them back regularly so that their mother's allegations can never be true."
Annan, known in the football world as Pablo Loving, admitted that her marriage with the child's mother was about to collapse and that discussions between the two families regarding the process divorce had reached advanced stages.
He pointed out that he had installed it in many companies, but to no avail; bought him a car, but the kid's mother later sold it and teamed up with his brother, appointed Advisor, to paint it black.
Meanwhile, the player thinks he's still exercising what makes him one of the best midfield reinforcements on the continent.
