NEW YORK – Anthony Joshua came to America.
The undefeated and unified heavyweight champion makes his US debut on Saturday as he defends his WBO, WBA and IBF titles against late replacement Andy Ruiz Jr. at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Joshua, Olympic gold medalist for Great Britain in 2012, was originally expected to face Jarrell's "Big Baby" Miller until a trio of drug testing tests having failed, compels him to withdraw. Ruiz, from California, will be looking to become the first Mexican heavyweight champion.
