call me selfish but 30% fee on transaction but what the developers get is just hosting and basic features and tools not reasonable. when it comes to games, Steam for example 30% but includes you a community hub, updates and a publish area etc. that allow you to better interact with players.

Apple doesn’t want their cut badly, lol. To say that being directed to the developers’ website would be bad for consumers is a bit flawed. This is really bad for Apple because they don’t know how much the developer is getting from customers.
